This work by Vernon Atterberry — Bridge Series, 2007, Oil on Linen — will be one of many on exhibit Aug. 2 through Aug. 28 at The Center for Art and Education in Van Buren. All works in the exhibit are from faculty at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. Don Lee, associate professor and chair of the UAFS Art Department, said the exhibit emphasizes an extensive range of visual expression in the form of painting, drawing, printmaking, book arts, design and installation.
