While stopped at N 6th and B Street behind the cute Red and Yellow Fort Smith Transit Trolley Bus one day this week I decided to follow the "tour bus" as it stopped along its historic district itinerary route.
First Stop-Next Step Day Room, 6th and B St.
Second- Golden Rule Clothes Closet 3rd and B.
Third-Community Rescue Mission 4th and F St.
Fourth-WestArk Church Hope Chest 4th and H St.
At last,proceeded on H Street passing the Belle Grove Historic District. This is what 'the Fort' offers prospective tourists..........The Fort Smith Twilight Zone!!
I got the idea and just turned around and went to the Casino in Oklahoma.

November election campaigns are now in the "home stretch".
So, locally do we want more of the same?
At the state level do we want to rock the boat?
At the national level do we want to give back the Congress to the Republicans just because the Democrats haven't fixed in 2 years what the Bush/Cheney Republicans took 8 years to
break?
