I support public transportation. I  don't support the the new tax. Just take a look at any ORT bus and count the passengers. You will find anywhere from none to 5 or 6. I've never seen more than that on any route. The proposed tax increase is pure baloney.

Outside my office, in front of the pavilion, they have sawed off then dug up roots on 4-6 perfectly wonderful 15-20 foot trees, and are replacing them with some other kind.
It infuriates me that we kill trees when they could have been dug up and placed elsewhere.

Does your disaster plan include contingency contracts? A contingency contract is a contract that is set just in case something happens. It can put you to the front of the line at a time when contractors are long on customers and short on resources.
