Mary E. Hoffman, 89 of Fort Smith passed away Tuesday, September 27th 2011 in Fort Smith. She was born August 31, 1922 in Booneville, AR to the late Arther and Ella Moore. She was a member of Rye Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired portrait Artist for both the Skinner Studios and Mitchell Studios. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore L. Hoffman.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the Steep Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Janet Pepper of Fort Smith, her brother Arther Paul Moore of Barling, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She is also survived by her niece Mayrene Nelms and her nephew Wayne Nelms both of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Parker, Jake, J. Lee, Randy, Brian, and Jimmy Didier. Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Hamilton, John and Harold Stewart and Wayne Helms.
Viewing will be 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 28th at the funeral home.
