Open letter to Mayor Sanders

Date: November 27, 2011 Mayor Sandy Sanders 623 Garrison Avenue Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901 James L. Steward Jr. Knoxville, Tennessee 37918 Dear Mayor Sanders, I respectfully submit the enclosed Sworn Complaint against Fort Smith's Police Chief Kevin D. Lindsey (and others) for you're consideration. I hope you will take the time to review it in it's entirety. I never knew the name Kevin Lindsey prior to January 25, 2009. after all I don't live in Fort Smith. I hold no personal animosities towards him, nor anyone in an official capacity in Fort Smith. What I do know is, two beautiful young women, one brutally beaten, mortality wounded, the other a witness to the violent crime, lay at his feet of Police Chief Kevin D. Lindsey and he haven’t clue, or care. His 'nu-solved homicide report card was falsely rewarded, complements of a cover up. His actions or I should say, lack of, towards what conspired in the aftermath of this horrible murder proves without question. He has a self serving mentality and does not possess the skill set or professional knowledge that the title 'Chief of Police' requires. I don't know what will be the conclusion of this enclosed complaint. I don't know, if our family will ever experience closer. Our hearts are shattered, I've been fighting this gross miscarriage of justice war going on over two years now. Fortunately, I'm not experienced in the process to follow when a family member is slaughtered and the police department demonstrates incompetency and turns a blind eye. The enclosed Sworn Complaint will remove any reasonable doubt what so ever. The State Medical Examiners Office and Fort Smith Prosecutors were in fact lied to, and information with held for some unknown reasons. I'm forced to learn as I go, as statue of limitations expires one after the other. It's a lesson I pray to God, I will not have to become efficient in. There are few avenues left me it seems. The only one I can identify is creating a internet petition and media campaign. Building a grassroots movement seem to be the only choice afforded me at this point. The answer may be as simple as seeking the support of the great state of Arkansas. I believe if and when it comes to that. The 'people' will demand answers and hold their leaders accountable for this reprehensible miscarriage of justice. Twenty-five year old Sarah M. Fennell came to Fort Smith, in search of opportunity, and a safe place to have children and raise her new family. Adam J. Kuettel raped her of this dream and her young life. I wish for everyone to understand, I hold no animosity towards the leaders or any people in general of Fort Smith. I know in the most part, they are good, law biding, loving and caring people. That being said, I'm sure all of you will understand why. I can't just walk away from this reprehensible miscarriage of justice, that you're Police Chief has allowed to be swept under the rug. As of this writing, Chief police Kevin Lindsey still refuses my repeated request for the 'complete' police investigation report. As for Adam J. Kuettel, he has never been arrested, charged or held accountable for his unspeakable atrocities that 'he has admitted to' in the police reports against Sarah M. Fennell. He has ran away to Denver, leaving two dead young women of Fort Smith behind. If you want to know what failed law enforcement of Domestic Violence looks like. For the love of God, please, read this Sworn Complaint in it's entirety. For more information I direct you to http://justice4sarah.wordpress.com/ Sincerely, James L.
