Sarah Elizabeth Hughes, 85, of Van Buren, AR died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at a Van Buren hospital.
She was born August 27, 1926 at Coal Hill, the widow of Billy V. Hughes, a member of Rena Road Church of Christ, and a retired home health aide.
Funeral will be Friday, June 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Rena Road Church of Christ. Burial will be at Washington Cemetery under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary.
Pallbearers will be: Sherman and Lester Hopwood, A.Z. Hudson, Allen Hamilton, Jimmy and Monty Burkhart.
Survivors: sons, Billy, John, James and Bobby all of Fort Smith and Fredrick of Van Buren; a sister, Evelyn Ford of San Bernadino, CA; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
Viewing will be Thursday where the family will receive friends from 6 - 7 pm at the funeral home.
