The H20ZONE

After the news that a water park facility is being built at Ben Geren Recreational Park, I felt it necessary to start a movement to give this highly anticipated, much needed "thing to do" in Fort Smith a proper and COOL name before it's too late...Well, maybe it is too late.  I heard that it might be named the 'Ben Geren Aquatic Center" but let's all be truthful here.....BORING!  Alma named theirs the "Alma Aquatic Park" but everyone calls it "Alma Water Park" which is fine.  That is their brand and it's certainly doing well for them.  

We need a cool name.  One that fits our region.  One with an identity that we can proudly say, "Hey mom, let's go to the ________ this weekend!"  Ben Geren Aquatic Center...?  No.  Then it'll start being shortened the B-GAC, which kind of has a ring to it, but also kind of sounds like noise made when puking.  Think of other water facility names:  "Wild River Country"  "Wet N Wild"  "Crystal Falls"  "Schlitterbahn" "Typhoon Lagoon" .....

What will be our name?
