Today we held our Caregiver's Meeting at the St. Scholastica retreat center. Aside from the delicious italian lunch, we were honored to have Rosemary join us from UAMS to speak to us about senior citizen care! We had a huge crowd and we appreciate everyone for attending. The crowd included activity directors, administrators, key persons, and volunteers from the area nursing homes.
Did you know that 92% of elders in nursing homes are without friends or family? **92%**!!!! But YOU can help fix that- a half hour, an hour, that will change statistics. You can make a difference in whether or not edlers have companionship. That's what we're about here at Project Compassion, helping residents by offering one-to-one visitation, for any length of time! For more information on our Caregiver's Workshop, Friends of Project Compassion Dinner, or the organization, call our office at 479.783.2273. God bless!
