No, nothing more to the story, besides the mention of sleepless nights and our van windows being shot out one night as it sat in our driveway, and not living in our home for security reasons for months, and the overwhelming outpouring of donations and cards and letters of support from our church family and friends from across the US
. I was hesitant to speak up; I do not like confrontation. At all. Every so often my family and I will rent a room at a local motel as sort of a mini vacation (we don't have a pool). We were on our way to our room after VBS (Vacation Bible School). The growing lack of concern within the FSPD for civil liberties should not be neglected for a paycheck or for really anything. It's a dangerous development. Unfortunately, there are those (both in and not in positions of authority ) who love the darkness and do not want the light on. Speak up now. Our kids are counting on it.
