Four Prayers and More!

June 2012 - My breast cancer battle advanced and so did my prayers.

Naturally, I asked to be healed - cancer free.  That would be a miracle.  I do believe that all things are possible.

However, I took pause and thought....really what would I wish for if I could have only four wishes.  The answer bubbled up out of my soul with such ease.

I prayed that I would live to see my daughter marry a Godly man.  That would be good to her.
I prayed that I would have the opportunity to deliver an inspirational speech to an audience of people from around the world.
I prayed that I would write a book.
I prayed that I would be loved, feel love, and love a man as God has intended.

I continue to battle breast cancer. It is June 2014.  I've been blessed with answers to three of these prayers.

Today, I share the story of Prayer One.

Amanda and Scott met on Match.com.  They worked two blocks apart but had never seen each other.  Technology provided the introduction.
They meet and on the second date, he asked her to tell him her salvation story. When Amanda came home from that date and told me about their conversation, I just knew he was the one.  March 8, 2014, Scott and Amanda married.

Here is the story. http://www.sheknows.com/health-and-wellness/articles/1038819/woman-livin...

Hopefully, you will enjoy the story of how God answered the other prayers.  I will roll out blogs this summer sharing the details.  Feel free to share the power of faith, prayer, and God with others.
