So how come is it that when I plug in this address to my feed reader, I don't get recently-added content? Like forum posts, calendar items, and blog posts?

As an example, go to http://tracyplaces.blogspot.com. I've added The City Wire feed on the top RH corner. I've done the same thing at http://tracyplaces.wordpress.com. Same results.

Thanks

Recent RSS Feed
The front page and the recent posts are actually 2 different feeds. If you point your browser to http://www.thecitywire.com/recent, you will get the recently added items. At the bottom left of the page is the RSS icon to add the feed to your reader.
As far as geeking on this, adding by using the "rss.xml" addon is risky at best. I simply just look in my address bar and see if there is an icon there for feeds on any site I visit.
