Microhoo! Proposed Merger

I've been struggling with articulating what I think of the proposed buyout of Yahoo! by Microsoft. This New York Times by Saul Hansell is about the closest to what I have been thinking. I hope the great parts of Yahoo! like del.icio.us and especially flickr (they have been very vocal) are not harmed if the buyout happens.
