It is quite exciting and refreshing to have a plain spoken guy like Congressman Tom Cotton representing a majority of Arkansans who feel we need a more responsible government.   Responsible in the same simple approach to good fiscal policy in Washington that is required in our own checkbooks.
 
Many have questioned Tom Cotton on his “NO” vote on giving Federal aid to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.  As horrific as this tragedy was,  I interpreted his approach as he was simply interested in what other Federal program was going to be cut to provide the funds for the proposed aid.  At a time when our Federal debt has tripled in recent years to over $16 Trillion, I find his approach very sensible.
