Love is the best cancer side effect.
I have never felt more loved than the times I have been actively battling breast cancer. People have loved me through their words, acts of service, gifts, physical touch and time. The givers have felt good and their show of love has made me feel better.
The 5 Love Languages by Dr. Gary Chapman is one of my favorite books. Today is Valentine’s Day. If you are having a tough time trying to let someone know that you love them then get this book….pronto!! It is an easy read, not boring and it might just be the best thing you can give yourself and the ones you love.
Discover their love language and “speak” it so they can feel it. A daily dose of love does a body good! Tick Tock.
